The Stingers are the men and women of the 180th fighter wing in Toledo, Ohio.  Protecting our freedom with their F-16 aviation expertise, the pilots of the 112th fighter squadron are true patriots "raining fire from above, for the freedom that we love".  They are a band of brothers and sisters who loved and respected Sonny as a pilot, farmer, friend, and hero.   To get a better understanding of the impact Sonny had on his Stinger's family, we encourage you to read the following two special tributes by fellow Stingers for Sonny's funeral and memorial service.
